Over 300 km of marked hiking trails and alpine tracks lead through the Rauris mountains and the Hohe Tauern National Park past waterfalls and many original alpine meadow huts which will spoil you with traditional delicacies.

There are also many excursion destinations and our five wonderful side valleys such as the Seidlwinkel Valley, the Hüttwinkl Valley, the Gaisbach Valley or the Forsterbach valley are really worth a visit. During a hike through the Kruml Valley, also called the “Valley of Vultures”, you can observe golden eagles, bearded vultures, ibex and marmots in their natural surroundings if you have a bit of luck.

And a hike into the Hüttwinkl valley to the Rauris forest and to the primal spring is highly recommended. As a true source of power with a drinking water fountain and seating, it is very inviting for spending time and relaxing. The “Forest Secret” is also located not far from the Rauris primal spring – a beautiful forest lake that can sometimes be seen and sometimes not. In addition, our drinking water comes from Urquell.
